One thing that most of us are prioritising when it comes to clothes in 2020 is comfort. No one knows what exactly winter has in store for us, but I believe that knitted dresses are going to be the leading dress trend. Especially as many offices continue offering working from home until the end of the year. Most of us have been living in loungewear for the last seven months and celebrations have been put on pause. Here in Lithuania we are already number 1 when it comes to new covid cases and it only shows that we are going to stay at home at least until the end of the year. That’s why I’m not dreaming about sequin dresses this holiday season.
When it comes to comfort, you can’t beat a knitted dress with long sleeves and a roll-neck. You can throw it on with tights and boots in two seconds for an easy weekend look, then swap out your combats for heeled knee-highs, add some gold hoops, and – you have a more dressy option, even if you are just heading out for a walk. Also, I’m still in love with this long herringbone coat which makes every casual outfit chic even if you don’t put much effort into it.
