Ahh, nothing quite says fall like apple pie, am I right? So before getting into all that Chistmas baking I wanted to share with you this autumnal recipe of 6-ingredient apple pie. So if you are tired of baking recipes that call for a list of countless ingredients, this one is for you! The beauty of this recipe is that it only needs six ingredients, but you can certainly add something more if you feel like it. For example, you can make your apple pie cake extra-seasonal by using pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon.
Flour 1 cup
Semolina 1 cup
Sugar 1 tbsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Apples 800 g
Butter 100 g
Mix together the flour, semolina, sugar and baking powder.
Separately, grate the apples. Distribute some of the dry mixture into a well-greased tray, some of the apples on top, more dry mixture on top of them and grate the butter on top of everything.
Bake in the oven for around 30-45 minutes until golden. Serve with an ice cream.
Earlier this month I made a pumpkin pie! You can find the recipe HERE.
