The Big Reunion in Warsaw

Big reunion in Warsaw

The closer it gets to spring, the more I’m craving to travel. That is why I have decided to take a little trip for a weekend with my best friend and make a great start of a travel season. No matter how much I love my home and my everyday life, there’s something about escaping reality for a little while. There is so much for us to see and experience out there that I sometimes don’t even know where would be next on the list. However, this time it was an easy decision to make because me and my friend Greta agreed on meeting each other somewhere between Vilnius and Prague where she was living for the past six months. So it was quite a reunion as well!

We spent the majority of our time in the Old Town of Warsaw. Mostly, due to time constraints but also because the rest of the city looked grey and lots of the main attractions were in the Old Town – including a gorgeous Market Square which kind of looked like a Christmas market with all the decorations and mulled wine so it was a bit confusing 😀 However, it has a lively vibe, perfect for grabbing a drink, enjoying the weather and people watching.

If you are planning a trip to Warsaw I have a great apartment recommendation which was quite a cheap option but had the best location and a bathtub in a room! Maybe it wasn’t super practical but made a really good impression.
