A Flea Market at „Vasaros Terasa“ is a weekly market where everybody can participate. And because I have plenty of clothes that I am never gonna wear, I decided to go and try my luck. Selling at flea markets can be a good (and fairly easy) source of extra income. Of cource, you have to know something before you go, otherwise you’ll end up like me – with -2,5 € in my pocket (ha).
What kind of goods can you find/sell? Almost Everything. And whether it’s new or used it’s bargain priced. Let yourself be surprised and don’t limit yourself with expectations if you go as a buyer. There is a far more beautiful, vintage world to be discovered out there.

Getting the future you want won’t start easy, that’s for sure. I bet you already know what kind of future you want or at least some moments that you are imagining in your perfect future picture. Of course, I don’t have everything that I could ever want in my life at the moment but I really push myself forward for that and I can tell you – it works. Create your own life and make it happen today.
Successful women are always looking to find and experience new things, even a conversation with someone on a different life path is an opportunity to learn new things. So don’t close your mind off and always be open to new experiences. I truly believe in the power of learning because when we stop trying, we essentially stop reaching for our goals.
The one thing that keeps me on track is planning ahead and scheduling things. It’s not just goals, it’s the thing that have to happen by a certain point in time. Be realistic with your plans and goals, and break that goal into small steps so you can celebrate every step you get through. It will show you that you’ve already come this far and will disable you from giving up too quickly! There is actually a special name for this kind of goal setting. However, I can’t remember how it is called so feel free to commet if you know what I’m talking about.
Stop blaming the universe, the woman who spilled her coffee on you or the weather for your outlook on life. You are in control, and that’s a good thing! You should love your life every single day, and work hard on loving it even more. If you need more reason to be happy, just make them happen.

All I wanted was a couple of days in the sun. Without streets being flooded (if you live in Vilnius, you know what I’m talking about) and with a hint of a nice summer breeze. So we spend three days in Nida where I felt like it’s a real summer again. No, it wasn’t +30 but it was warm enough for me to go to the water and even get tanned (!). Hopefully, we will have some more warm days until this summer is over.

You don’t really appreciate your vision until you have to wear glasses or contact lenses every day. I have been wearing glasses since the first grade and lately I felt like it really bothers me when I can‘t wear sunglasses, when I come into a warm place after being outside in winter and you can‘t really see anything or when you just want to jump into the water on a hot summer day without leaving your sight right next to your beach towel and be almost blind while swimming (well I don‘t really know how to swim but I‘m sure you’ve got a point).
So exactly one week ago I had a laser eye surgery which is bringing my vision slowly back to me! It was done at the Lirema clinic and I could not be happier with a great work that they do and how well they treat every patient.
1. Consultation. Somehow this step for me was the scariest one, because I knew that if I am suitable for the surgery, I’m going to do it. Luckily, the doctor informed me that everything was fine and suggested to have LASEK method done.
2. Surgery. As everyone said, it really wasn’t painful at all. I was completely calm because I had two weeks for my own research so I knew what’s coming. The doctor was really professional and , all the way through the surgery, she was telling me what she‘s doing and what I am going to feel.
3. Recovery. Well, I’m still in this stage. First two days after the surgery were a nightmare and I really needed lots of painkillers and darkness in my room. But after those two days, the pain was gone and I can already notice that my vision is getting better.
So if you are thinking about it, I would say do it, because there is nothing better than being able to see with nothing in-between you and the world 🙂
