You probably know by now that I’m not the girliest girl. I generally try to avoid super feminine pieces because they don’t suit me. However, I like pleated skirts (which is basically as girly as it gets) and I think I found the way to wear them and at the same time to stay true to my style.
I got this skirt after my friend gave it away to me because she couldn’t find the way to wear it. And I don’t blame her. It’s not the easiest peace to wear if you don’t want to pair it with something simple to be safe and look basic. So that’s how I came up with the idea to show 3 different outfits where I have combined one item in various ways.
DISCLAIMER – I shot these looks in the freezing cold, so I’m trying REALLY hard to look normal in these photos. You can see the struggle in my eyes. #fightingthearcticwind

You thought this trend would never come back into style but I‘ve been waiting for it, as long as I saw my granny wearing it. If you ask me, the beret is more than just a seasonal trend. It’s a true classic, that would go with any outfit. Besides, who doesn’t like to look French?
There are lots of styles with pompoms, pearls, leather and other embellishments out there right now, but I always prefer the classic ones without any distractions. The beret has long been associated with creatives throughout history and for me they are always associated with poets, french girls and old ladies in the church on Sundays.
However, I have one main suggestion on how to wear it. The beret should be pulled fully over the head, covering half of the ears. Avoid the beret being overly on top of your head else you might have to say au revoir to this season’s coolest accessory.

It’s that time of year once again when everybody is making conversation asking “So, do you have any Christmas parties this weekend?” it’s like when December hits, you’re automatically enrolled into some kinda’ party schedule.
For this year’s Christmas party I am determined to LOVE my outfit. Last year, I went to my work Christmas party, and I didn’t really like the outfit so even though this may sound silly, not being comfortable in what I am wearing can make the whole party less fun. This time around, I’m determined to love what I’m wearing to tonight’s Christmas party. I know if I’m comfortable and feel good, I will in turn have a much better time.
If you’re considering your Christmas party outfit, why not try making something traditionally formal a little more edgy? This is what I tried to do this year. I found these vinyl trousers about a month ago and I knew it’s going to be my key piece into my Christmas party outfit. So have a look, grab some ideas and enjoy this party season!

Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States (the fourth Thursday of November). I did my first Black Friday outing (in Lithuania Black Friday is not even a thing but we do have sales around the same time of year) two years ago and I ended up really happy because of my little preparation. I knew about upcoming sales and with a list of items that I had my eyes on a couple of days before the actual sale, my Black Friday mission went very successful.
Thankfully, these sales are the kind you don’t even have to leave the couch for and some of my favourite retailers are even dropping their prices a week before in the Black Friday Warm Up Sales to get everyone in the mood for the big day!
The section below shows some very best discounts the Black Friday sales have to offer! During the week I will try to add more shops to the list, so make sure to bookmark this page and check back over the next week.

There’s only two months left until the end of this year, which means we have the whole two month to reach our goals of 2017. I made my list of things that I want to achieve in 2017 back at the end of last year and I’m only halfway through it. But I’ve decided that I still have some time and there is no excuse to leave those things to be done for upcoming years.
Most of these things, were related to Crystal Sundays, because 2017 is the year when I have finally started it. I’m really happy that I managed to reach this little milestone (and dream) of mine. However, I have some goals that I’m so so far from achieving them that it starts bothering me since they appear on my list every year.
One of these things that are on my black list for this (ok, and previous) year is eating healthy. I know how it is important for me since I have an allergy for all junk food but I still somehow end up at McDonald’s once a week. So, as from today I eat my very last slice of pizza and for the rest of this month I will try to eat as clean as possible. I know that one month is not that much but hey ho, it is better one month of healthiness than none at all, right? Maybe it will be a start of my healthy lifestyle 😀 So, wish me luck and I will update you after the experiment.

I can‘t believe it is already the middle of October which means we are nearly halfway through autumn. And as far as I can see, this season was dedicated for checked blazers, coats and trousers. I have a bunch of trousers and blazers, but never had a full suit before. So it was about time to get one.
Besides loving formal wear, I also have a crush for sneakers. They are probably on top of the list when it comes to shoes I would wear on a daily basis. The secret to pulling off sneakers with a suit is picking the right trousers length. In my opinion, cropped trousers work best with sneakers. You can always spice things a little bit up and try to wear a bright pair of socks underneath.

It is finally the month of coziness which means here come hot drinks, blankets, chunky knitwear and stunning colours outdoors. When the darker mornings start (seriously, how hard is it to get up at the moment?) and it’s getting late earlier at night, autumn time can have an impact on people’s mood and motivation. So here are some things that keep me happy this autumn and make sure that the change in season doesn’t affect my mood!
Burning candles is an all year thing for me. But as soon as October comes, I start wishing for more intense scents which would fill the room in the evening. Other than enjoying how cozy the new season can be in the evening I live for bright autumn days. These are ideal for going on walks to enjoy the changing colours and fresh air.
As you guys know by now, my style is very basic and my mantra is all about finding those wardrobe staples which can be used in almost every outfit you wear. At the moment, I’m really into over the knee boots which are officially a staple for your fall and winter wardrobes. They are available all over the place this autumn, from Stuart Weitzman to far more affordable high street versions (like the ones from Zara that you see in pictures).
I’ve been really enjoying switching up my skincare to achieve a bit more of a glow to my skin. My number one product for this season became Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate which makes my skin glow like no other product I’ve used before. This top-rated face serum is formulated with ingredients like Lavender Essential Oil and Evening Primrose Oil to replenish skin by morning and I couldn’t be happier about that.

This trend can look really fancy and it can be hard to find a style that works for you. However, with the amount of sheer styles that are out there, there is definitely one for everyone! Recently, I found the one that is perfect for me and can be transformed to a dress for special occasions or something different that you can wear on daily basis.
It can also seem impossible to style this trend appropriately for the daytime, but there are plenty of sweet options. In this post, I’ll be showing you how I would style a dress with sheer details for both day at the office and a night out.
Usually, my style is not very feminine or office appropriate. I like to mix and match different styles together and this makes everything look casual and chic. That is why my first option for a daytime would be a sheer dress with a sweater on top so that it would look effortless but still more interesting. For a night out, you can simply wear this dress on a slip dress and look absolutely amazing. However, if you are like me, you can pair it with sneakers and jeans and feel fancy enough for a night out with friend.

Is it a robe? Nooo. But if you won’t be careful, it can easily look like one. With its exotic origins, a woman wearing a kimono can’t help but look mysterious. Not to mention, it’s a great piece to transition into autumn with.
Basic T-shirts, sneakers/sandals and denim pieces are my fave pairings. Longer length kimonos are perfect for a fancy night out and a day-dressing for fashionista. Here’s some inspiration for me and you because I’m still hunting for a perfect one.
