The restrictions will make Christmas week look a little different than usual this year. In Lithuania we are not allowed to celebrate holidays with people that we are not living together (one houshold only). So it means I’m not going to see my family during Christmas. There’s something particularly wholesome about the traditions a family develops over the years throughout Christmas time. Those unspoken rules that everyone knows because they have done so in years past. This year I’ll try to improvise and still make it a great day as much as possible with a hope that next year we will all come back to those traditions again.
Seeing as we won’t have parties to dress up for, one thing we can start thinking about is our Christmas Day outfits. Whether you’ll be celebrating with Zoom calls or with friends and family at home, the below ensembles will make you feel a little special, whatever you have planned. It’s something in between sequins and pj’s so that you could feel good and cozy. At least for me that will be the goal this year.
