Feeling a little scared to wear a hoodie outside of your house or the gym? Don’t be! Let’s admit it – we all have those times where lounging around in sweatpants and a baggy T-shirt all day sounds like the most satisfying thing in the world and actually putting together a full outfit would take you too much effort. So today I have decided to show you how I would assemble the most relaxed piece in my wardrobe while still remaining true to my personal style. When in doubt, I always lean on a classic black hoodie because you can never go wrong with a simple colour palette and designs.
Instead of a shirt, why not style your super-sleek tailored blazer or even a suit with a hoodie? I know you have seen this blazer too many times but what can I say, it goes with everything! I also have matching trousers but this time I’ve decided to choose skinny leather pants and balance the whole outfit.
It’s understandable that you automatically graviate towards trousers and jeans instead of skirts to wear with your hoodies but I had the idea to wear them with a midi skirt or like in this case a satin dress. It looks slouchy but still appropriate enough for a lunch date. I know that lots of you will probably hate it but personally I really love this look. You can also add pleats, and a pair of over-the-knee boots (I wish mine were heeled) for the ultimate off-duty ensemble.
Yes, a hoodie and jeans always go perfectly together and make a great alternative night-out look. Just add heels or heeled boots, and you’re good to go. Plus a hooded sweatshirt hides all your sweet sins or filling dinner.
If you are wondering where I got mine, it is an H&M hoodie from men’s section.
