When it comes to my style over the last few years, the one thing that hasn’t changed is believing that it’s all in the details and simplicity that will make me feel confident and ready to go. Details themselves might have changed but although my style may have developed and grown, feeling great is still my priority.
So what do I do when I need to feel my best but I still want my look to be a bit more casual.
Casual or not we all have those items of clothing in our wardrobes that leave us feeling and looking our best. For me it tends to be something staple that I know works every time and something statement just to put me in a better mood and so that I woudn‘t look boring to myself. A casual outfit doesn’t have to leave you feeling underdressed.
In summer I love adding a pair of sungasses to every look. It always makes me feel like I made an effort and even if I don‘t wear any make up on I don‘t feel bad about it. This way, suddenly my simple jeans and white tee style is lifted and so is my mood.
The next accessory that I recently fell in love with is a hat. I wanted something like this for so long but I couldn’t find the one that fit me well. I’ve got this one as a gift from my sister on Christmas and it’s perfect! Not too big, not too small and surprisingly warm.
Let’s be honest – most of us don’t actually have the time to research styling tricks daily. So, always have a uniform ready for days you simply need to get up and go. Know what looks good on you and don’t be afraid to wear that over and over again. For me, this uniform contains of white tee tucked into cropped jeans with a blazer on top. It never goes old and works every time.
