There’s only two months left until the end of this year, which means we have the whole two month to reach our goals of 2017. I made my list of things that I want to achieve in 2017 back at the end of last year and I’m only halfway through it. But I’ve decided that I still have some time and there is no excuse to leave those things to be done for upcoming years.
Most of these things, were related to Crystal Sundays, because 2017 is the year when I have finally started it. I’m really happy that I managed to reach this little milestone (and dream) of mine. However, I have some goals that I’m so so far from achieving them that it starts bothering me since they appear on my list every year.
One of these things that are on my black list for this (ok, and previous) year is eating healthy. I know how it is important for me since I have an allergy for all junk food but I still somehow end up at McDonald’s once a week. So, as from today I eat my very last slice of pizza and for the rest of this month I will try to eat as clean as possible. I know that one month is not that much but hey ho, it is better one month of healthiness than none at all, right? Maybe it will be a start of my healthy lifestyle 😀 So, wish me luck and I will update you after the experiment.

I can‘t believe it is already the middle of October which means we are nearly halfway through autumn. And as far as I can see, this season was dedicated for checked blazers, coats and trousers. I have a bunch of trousers and blazers, but never had a full suit before. So it was about time to get one.
Besides loving formal wear, I also have a crush for sneakers. They are probably on top of the list when it comes to shoes I would wear on a daily basis. The secret to pulling off sneakers with a suit is picking the right trousers length. In my opinion, cropped trousers work best with sneakers. You can always spice things a little bit up and try to wear a bright pair of socks underneath.

It is finally the month of coziness which means here come hot drinks, blankets, chunky knitwear and stunning colours outdoors. When the darker mornings start (seriously, how hard is it to get up at the moment?) and it’s getting late earlier at night, autumn time can have an impact on people’s mood and motivation. So here are some things that keep me happy this autumn and make sure that the change in season doesn’t affect my mood!
Burning candles is an all year thing for me. But as soon as October comes, I start wishing for more intense scents which would fill the room in the evening. Other than enjoying how cozy the new season can be in the evening I live for bright autumn days. These are ideal for going on walks to enjoy the changing colours and fresh air.
As you guys know by now, my style is very basic and my mantra is all about finding those wardrobe staples which can be used in almost every outfit you wear. At the moment, I’m really into over the knee boots which are officially a staple for your fall and winter wardrobes. They are available all over the place this autumn, from Stuart Weitzman to far more affordable high street versions (like the ones from Zara that you see in pictures).
I’ve been really enjoying switching up my skincare to achieve a bit more of a glow to my skin. My number one product for this season became Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate which makes my skin glow like no other product I’ve used before. This top-rated face serum is formulated with ingredients like Lavender Essential Oil and Evening Primrose Oil to replenish skin by morning and I couldn’t be happier about that.
